Here are 5 important things to know about Everand’s free trial

1. You can join the free trial with your Google, Facebook, or Apple account or make a new account using your email address
2. Everand offers a trial for both monthly and annual plans
3. On day 14 of the free trial, you will get a reminder about your trial so you have enough time to decide about continuing or canceling before the trial ends
4. You can cancel the free trial anytime you want, no questions asked
5. The free trial requires your payment information but you are only charged after 30 days if you do not cancel the trial. During the signup process, you are shown the free trial expiry date

During your free trial period, you have access to all membership benefits as a regular subscriber.

How to Join Everand Free Trial

You can start your free trial from Everand’s website or app. Click on the Read free for 30 days option

You can sign up for the trial using your existing Google, Facebook, or Apple accounts. You can also create a new account using your email address.

Click Continue after providing the information. I used my Gmail account to sign up for the free trial. Authorise the access

You can either join the free trial for Premium Monthly plan (costs $9.99/month after the free trial) or Premium Annual (costs $84.99/ year or $7.09/ month)

Next, you have to provide a payment method. You will not be charged until your trial expires and you decide to continue without canceling

The accepted payment methods include credit/ debit cards, PayPal, and Google Pay.

I have used the bank card option and provided the card details

Click on Start your free trial to proceed.

That’s it. You have signed up for the free trial successfully

You will also receive an email confirmation with all the free trial details.

You can now download the Everand app on your device and sign in to your account. To listen to the first audiobook, follow these steps

• To search the audiobook, tap on the Discover option from the bottom navigation bar and type the name of the book in the top search bar

• I have searched for How to win friends and influence people. Select the Audiobooks format and tap on the book from the search results

• Tap on the Listen option to start listening

• The audiobook will start playing in the Everand’s App Player which has the following controls and settings

You can select the narration speed from 0.8x to 3.0x. The Sleep Timer gives you option to set a custom sleep timer.

Tapping on the more option gives you access to additional controls and settings

More options include

• Save for Later/ Remove from Saved
• Download title on your device
• Tables of Contents
• Bookmarks
• Share options
• Audio Jump Length
• About Audiobook
• Report and issue

The Save for Later option lets you save the titles you are currently listening to and locate them easily from the Saved option in the bottom navigation bar.

You can also download a title on your device for offline listening, access your bookmarks, and share a title through WhatsApp, email, and social sharing platforms.

If you are interested in eBooks, tap on the Discover option from the bottom navigation bar and search for a title you want to read.

Select the eBooks format and tap on the title from the search results.

You can tap on Read to start reading and also tap on the Save option to save the title in the Saved section.

In Everapp app reader, you have options to access the Table of Contents anytime you want. You can also use a slider at the bottom of the page to go on a certain page.

The More option gives you access to

• Create a Bookmark
• Save for Later
• Download eBook on your device for offline reading
• Sharing options
• About Book
• Report an issue

Tapping on the Fonts option gives you access to the following options

• Font choice [Contemporary, Geometric, Modern, Postmodern, Slab and Vintage]
• Alignment
• Font Size
• Theme [Lighter & Darker]
• Brightness

During your free trial you can explore other content types including newspapers, magazines, sheet music, and more.

To cancel your Everand trial, follow the instructions below

• Login to your account on Everand website (or Scribd site)
• Navigate to Your Account Page
• In the Subscription and Payment Details section, click on End My Subscription [this may appear as Cancel Subscription in some cases]

You will see a few pages of confirmations, and the subscription will be canceled after your confirmation.
