A Complete Guide to Cancel Everand Subscription

You can cancel your Everand subscription at any time if you think it’s not worth it or you are not happy with how Everand has changed it’s subscription model.

You can cancel your subscription, change your subscription type, and reactivate a canceled subscription in the Your Account section on Everand website. It is currently not possible to cancel your subscription from Everand’s app.

This article shows the step-by-step procedure to cancel your Everand membership and reactivate the membership if you want to return.

5 Important things to know before you cancel your Everand subscription

Here are 5 important things to know before canceling your Everand membership

• You can cancel and manage your Everand subscription from Everand’s website if you have used a credit card/ debit card, PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay as a payment method.
• If you purchased the subscription from Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store, you can use Apple/ Android devices to cancel your membership (explained below)
• If you are still in the free trial period, you will lose access to premium content and other benefits immediately upon cancelation
• When you cancel your Everand subscription you can continue using your premium subscription features until the last day of your billing cycle
• After cancelation, you can continue using your free account to share documents on Scribd or SlideShare. Your reading/listening history and saved lists will remain intact if you ever decide to reactivate your account.

You also have the option to delete your account on Everand website and app.

Note: If you have an active subscription, you can only delete your account after canceling your subscription and allowing any remaining time to expire

How to Cancel Everand Subscription

If you have made up your mind and want to cancel your Everand subscription, follow these steps.

• Go to the Everand website and log in to your account (you can also cancel your membership from the Scribd website)
• Go to Your Account section by clicking the top right of the page

• This section contains your account information and settings, including payment and subscription details. You can change your subscription plan here to annual or monthly plans. To cancel your Everand membership, click on the Cancel option in the Subscription section (in front of the Cancel subscription option)

Note: For some members, this may appear as End My subscription

• A popup message will let you know about the remaining day in your free trial or subscription and give you two options: Return to homepage or Continue to cancel. Click Continue to cancel to proceed

• Like any other subscription service, Everand wants you to stay. You will get an offer to stay. In my case, I am offered to extend my free trial for another 30 days. I can click on Extend free trial to avail of the offer. I have clicked on Cancel subscription to continue the cancelation process

• For the last time, Everand lets you know that by canceling the subscription, you will lose access to Everand, Scribd, and SlideShare content immediately. You can click on Cancel subscription to proceed

Your Everand subscription is successfully canceled. You will receive a confirmation email and Everand wants you to let them know why you canceled your membership.

Select the reason for cancelation and click on the Submit option.

The confirmation email you receive has the option to Restart Subscription if you want to continue using Everand.

Cancel Everand subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store

You can cancel your Everand subscription on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. To cancel Everand subscription on your iPhone or iPad

• Tap on the Settings  > your Apple ID

• Tap on the Subscription option from the list and you will get the list of all subscribed services

• Tap on Everand (or Scribd) and tap on Cancel Subscription

Finally, confirm the cancelation

Your Everand subscription is now canceled.

You can also cancel Everand subscription on your Mac

• Open the App Store
• Select the sign-in button (or your name) from the bottom of the sidebar
• Click the View Information option at the top

• Scroll down to Subscription and click Manage

• Locate Everand/ Scribd and select Edit

Select Cancel Subscription and confirm your cancelation.

Cancel Everand subscription purchased through Google Play

You can cancel, pause, or change your Everand subscription through Google Play.

• Open Google Play on your Android device
• Tap the Profile icon at the top right
• Select Payment & Subscriptions > Subscriptions
• Locate your Everand/ Scribd subscription

Tap on Cancel Subscription to start canceling.

You can also cancel the Everand subscription purchased through Google Play from your computer.

Go to play.google.com and sign in to your account. Click the My Subscriptions option and locate Everand/ Scribd. Click Manage and then Cancel Subscription. Select Yes on the pop-up.

How to reactivate Everand subscription

You can rejoin Everand anytime you want. To reactivate your Everand subscription

• Go to Everand website and sign in to your account
• Go to Your Account section
• Click on the Restart subscription option in the Subscription section

• You can use the payment method on your account file or add another payment method. Click on the Start your Subscription option to reactivate your subscription

Your subscription is activated and you will receive an email confirmation as well.
