- Next, review all the information and preview the gift card. You can change the membership plan here if you want. Click the Buy for $XX.XX option to make the payment and finalize the gift.
The receiver will get the gift in the email with the selected card and the custom message that you wrote.

- 1 Monthly Credit: The receiver will get 1 monthly credit to purchase any title from the premium selection to keep forever.

- Open the email with the subject “You’ve received a gift on Audible from…”

- You have the option to send the gift by email or print (and hand deliver). I selected the email option. Provide the gift detail here including recipient’s name, email, your name, gift delivery date, and a custom message. Click Continue
- Next, review all the details and take a look at the preview of the email. To finalize the gift, purchase the book via available credit or using your bank card.
Click Confirm Purchase to finalize the purchasing process. After the purchase is done, you will be taken to the Thank You page and you receive an email confirming the order.
If you choose the print option, you will get instructions to print the gift and fold the card.
There are a few things you need to know before purchasing a book as a gift for others.
- Gift audiobooks cannot be purchased in the Audible app. You have to go to the Audible website to buy a book as a gift.
- Some Audible credits cannot be used to buy gift books, including
- Credits from book returns
- Bonus/ Promotional credits that you got from offers (that were not purchased)
- Credits received as a gift membership
- Coupons cannot be used to purchase a gift book
- You can purchase Audible books as gift without Audible membership
- If the recipient already has the book that you have given as a gift, they will receive a credit if you purchased it through credit. In the case of purchase through a bank card, they will receive a coupon for the book’s value for the purchase.
- The gift recipient doesn’t have to be an Audible member to receive the gift. They can make a free Audible account to listen to the audiobook.
